From among the things life has taught me:

It is necessary to not concern one's self with some problems or give them great significance as the passing of time is sufficient in solving them.

Our Lord, cure our sick, provide for the barren amongst us, release our prisoners, enrich our poor, forgive our dead, and aid the oppressed.

Meaning: Remember me with your tongues, I will remember you during your sickness so that I may cure you; during your times of ignorance so that I may teach you; and during the times you are wronged so that I may aid you.


What a beautiful relationship this is between the Lord and His servant.

Whoever says: SubhanAllah wa bi hamdi (Glory be to Allah and by His praise) will have a date-palm tree planted for him in Paradise.

Praising food is a Sunnah.

When he (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) asked his family for a condiment for his food they said: "We don't have anything except vinegar!"

He asked for it and then began to eat it whilst saying: "What a good condiment vinegar is!"

"And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him."
