The two young women said to Moses (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him): "We do not water until the shepherds dispatch [their flocks]; and our father is an old man." (28:23)

The old age of their father, the difficulty of their work, and the thirst of their animals did not justify for them to mix freely with the shepherds.
